In his remarks, Joe Fay Adoko expressed appreciation for continued administrative support but highlighted operational challenges, including the lack of an alternative power source, unfenced court and residential premises posing security risks, and the absence of a court vehicle for official duties such as locus visits and supervisory engagements.

Despite these constraints, the Assistant Registrar commended Magistrate Grade One Vicent Muzeyi for exemplary leadership and effective station management.

He applauded the teamwork among judicial officers and support staff, noting consistent attendance, proper organization of court records, well-maintained archives and exhibit storage, and a serene court environment.

“We are encouraged by the level of preparedness and professionalism demonstrated by the team here. The issues raised will be formally escalated to top management to ensure that the necessary interventions are made ahead of the operationalisation of the High Court Circuit,” Sayuni said.

He further praised the court for maintaining high standards of professionalism and displaying anti-corruption messages within the premises, reinforcing the Judiciary’s commitment to integrity and accountability.

Sayuni reaffirmed the Judiciary’s commitment to strengthening service delivery, improving infrastructure, and ensuring institutional readiness as the Dokolo High Court Circuit prepares to commence operations.

The operationalisation of the Dokolo High Court Circuit is expected to enhance access to justice in the region by bringing High Court services closer to the people and reducing case backlog within the wider Lira sub-region.
