Eddy Kenzo named best African entertainer in International Raggae & World Music Awards

Ugandan singer Edirisa Musuza alias Eddy Kenzo has indeed enjoyed awards in all categories.

The “feelin da beat” singer is now in proud possession of yet another international award thanks to the organisers of the annual international reggae and World Music Aawards.

The awards held on Sunday, March 18th at Logan Center for the Arts, in Chicago named Kenzo the best entertainer there is in Africa.

On winning the award, Kenzo took to social media to break the news

“CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL OF US GUYS!!!!! WE WON Best African entertainer in the 36th International Reggae and world music Awards (IRAWMA) this is Very Big Thank you for voting Team 256, Team eddy kenzo, team East Africa, Team Africa, Eddy kenzo fans, God the greatest...bless you all.”

The other African to walk away with an award was Soukous maestro Koffi Olomide, of course for best entertainer in his music genre.
