Bisaso to use game against Vipers as CAF Confederation Cup preparation

Proline FC will kick start their Pilsner Super 8 tournament against Vipers this Wednesday the 31st of July at the StarTimes Stadium, Lugogo.

Proline have been camping in Jinja since Friday and held training sessions at the Njeru Technical Centre.

The team earned direct promotion to the StarTimes Uganda Premier League as table leaders of Big League Rwenzori Group and will also represent Uganda at the CAF Confederation Cup after winning the Stanbic Uganda Cup.

While speaking to the press after training today, Bisaso said he is unfazed by Wednesday's game and hopes to use it as a test match for the CAF Confederation Cup tie ahead.

“The Vipers match is a good test ahead of our CAF Confederation Cup, I will take it as a friendly match to test the readiness of my players ahead of the CAF Confederation Cup,” said Shafik Bisaso.

Proline FC will play the first leg of the CAF Confederation Cup against Masters Security Services from Malawi between 9th & 11th August at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.
