The Strategic Partnerships Director and Expo Chair of the Rotary Means Business (RMB) Uganda Expo 2026, Margaret Rose Naimanye, has said the upcoming RMB fellowship is aimed at strengthening business collaborations and referrals among Rotarians and Rotaractors, while promoting enterprise growth and professional networking.
Speaking during the NBS Breakfast Meeting on Thursday, the former President of the Hope Creators Rotary Club of Kigo said the RMB fellowship envisions becoming “the most reliable business community in Uganda and beyond.”
“RMB exists to provide a platform where Rotarians can share their businesses. The RMB Expo reflects our core values by elevating our earlier smaller showcases to a higher level, promoting Rotary Uganda and Rotary International, and delivering greater visibility,” she said.
Naimanye added that the initiative is designed to build lasting relationships with exhibitors beyond the three-day event through monthly trainings, continuous engagement, and follow-ups.
“We intend to establish the ‘House of Connections,’ where exhibitors, Rotarians and Rotaractors can continue to engage even after the Expo ends,” she said.
She further noted that exhibition space uptake is already at about 80 percent, with participants drawn from sectors including travel and hospitality, property and construction, research, education, and manufacturing, among others.
Naimanye also encouraged emerging and small business owners to participate, saying the Expo provides an opportunity for learning, exposure and growth.
“Many people are already in business but may be unsure about what to do or how to scale their enterprises,” she said.
The Rotary Means Business Uganda Expo 2026 is scheduled to take place from April 23 to 25, 2026, at Speke Resort Munyonyo in Kampala, running daily from 9:00am to 9:00pm. Entrance will be free.
The Expo will be held alongside the 101st Rotary District 9214 Conference and Assembly (101DCA), a flagship annual event expected to attract thousands of Rotarians, Rotaractors, business leaders, professionals, entrepreneurs and guests from Uganda and the wider region.
Organisers say the RMB Mega Business Expo 2026 and the 101st DCA House of Connections will provide a platform for enterprise visibility, innovation, networking and strategic partnerships. The initiative is expected to host over 100 exhibitors across various sectors of the economy.
The “House of Connections” will also serve as a dedicated space for fellowship, business interaction, idea exchange and relationship-building among exhibitors, delegates and visitors.
Organisers have invited potential exhibitors to take advantage of the opportunity to showcase their brands, products and services to a wide and influential audience.
“We aim for RMB to be recognized as the most trusted business community in the country. As Rotarians, integrity remains the foundation of our business relationships,” Naimanye said.
