Ven. Canon Godfrey Buwembo has called on believers to respect and support their church leaders, saying such cooperation strengthens unity and promotes the smooth running of ministry work.

Christians have been urged to accord respect to their church leaders to enable the smooth running of church activities, with emphasis that leadership is ordained by God.

The call was made by Archdeacon Ven. Canon Godfrey B.K. Buwembo during the ceremony to install the new parish priest of All Saints Church Mutundwe, in the Nateete Archdeaconry under Namirembe Diocese.

All Saints Church Mutundwe was filled with joy and celebration as believers gathered to witness the installation of Rev. Herbert Paul Kabanda.

While presiding over the ceremony, Ven. Buwembo advised the congregation to uphold the dignity of their leaders and support the new priest in his spiritual duties.
