Kampala City Festival Rescheduled To 12th October - Buzeki
Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) Executive Director, Sharifah Buzeki, explained that the adjustment was made to give way for Uganda’s Independence Day celebrations, which will take place on the 9th of October at Kololo Independence Grounds the same venue set to host the festival.

The Kampala City Festival, one of the biggest celebrations in the capital, has been rescheduled from the 5th to the 12th of October 2025.

The festival will be held under the theme “Innovation, Culture and Sustainability.”
