NRM Govt Achievements Under Spotlight as MPs Demand Accountability
According to Prime Minister Nabbanja, the NRM government has fulfilled 84% of its pledges, with 35% fully achieved and 49% on track. The government aims to reach 100% implementation before the end of the term.

The Prime Minister, Robinah Nabbanja, has been urged to present a comprehensive report on the National Resistance Movement (NRM) government's achievements during the 2021-2026 term.

This request comes as some NRM legislators face pressure from constituents to deliver tangible development projects.

Jonathan Odur, the Erute South MP, emphasised the need for transparency and accountability, stating, "I think when I listened to submissions from colleagues, the cry from Nebbi and all over the country.

The Leader of Government business could do us a very good service... to show each and every member of Parliament here, either in their district what the government has done, delivered tangibly as a project in these five years."

The request for accountability comes as the NRM government nears the end of its term, and legislators are keen to demonstrate tangible results to their constituents.

Odur noted that by presenting a comprehensive report on the government's achievements, the Prime Minister can help address concerns and showcase the progress made during the current term.
