KAMPALA — The Sanyuka Tulime Tulunde Tufune Agro Expo has concluded at the UMA Show Grounds in Lugogo after bringing together hundreds of farmers, agribusinesses, exhibitors, financial institutions, agricultural experts and innovators for two days of learning, networking and business engagement.
The exhibition provided a platform for farmers to explore modern farming methods, mechanisation, value addition, agribusiness management and sustainable agricultural practices aimed at improving productivity and profitability.
Visitors interacted with exhibitors showcasing improved seed varieties, livestock feeds, farm machinery, irrigation technologies, environmentally friendly farming solutions, financial products and value-added agricultural innovations.
The expo also created opportunities for experienced commercial farmers and those beginning their farming journey to exchange experiences, learn from one another and establish valuable business connections.
Individual farmers engaged with organised farmer groups to explore collaboration and strengthen their enterprises.
Panel discussions and one-on-one consultations enabled participants to seek expert guidance on crop production, livestock management, pest and disease control, record keeping, business formalisation and access to agricultural financing.
Many attendees described the advice as practical and immediately applicable to their farming activities.
Visitors praised the organisers for bringing together a wide range of agricultural services and expertise under one roof.
"I appreciate Sanyuka TV for bringing together experts, exhibitors and organising such an informative expo," said Masoole Ivan from Utungo Biina.
Mukwaya Farouk from Jinja said the exhibition's impact extended beyond those who attended in person.
"Thank you to Sanyuka TV for giving exhibitors this platform. We have learnt so much from the experts and exhibitors. The good thing is that even those who could not attend followed the discussions live on Sanyuka TV and also benefited from the knowledge shared," he said.
Participants also welcomed the opportunity to ask questions directly to specialists, receive practical solutions to challenges affecting their farms and identify mistakes they had unknowingly been making.
Beyond knowledge sharing, the expo served as a business marketplace where exhibitors connected with customers, suppliers, distributors and potential partners while exploring new commercial opportunities across Uganda's agricultural value chain.
The event attracted farmers, agribusiness owners, students, agricultural professionals, investors, buyers and members of the public, reinforcing its role as both a knowledge-sharing platform and a business networking hub.
Organisers said the expo further strengthened Sanyuka TV's commitment to agricultural education and agribusiness development through the Tulime Tulunde Tufune initiative, which continues to connect farmers with practical knowledge, innovation and market opportunities.
