Vipers Sports Club towering striker Fahad Bayo has been named ahead of Patrick Henry Kaddu as Johnathan McKinstry named the starting XI for Uganda Cranes team against Malawi’s Flames on Sunday afternoon.

The team released saw the Irishman retain skipper Denis Onyango in goal, whereas Nicholas Wadada, Joseph Ochaya, Bevis Mugabi and Murushid Juuko named to take charge of defending the goalkeeper.

In the middle of the pack, Khalid Aucho, Mike Azira will act as shock absorbers whereas Faruku Miya and William Kizito Luwaga will feed the forwards

Bayo and Emma Okwi have been tasked to poach down the Malawian Flames at Namboole.

McKinstry will for the first time be in the dugout at Namboole as the national team plays Malawi in the second group B game of the 2021 African Nations Cup qualifiers.
