Sanyuka TV To Broadcast Live Premier League Matches Starting This 2018/19 Season

Sanyuka TV has taken its first step into live football broadcasting after partnering with StarTimes DTV to acquire the rights to show 100 - Uganda Premier League matches for each of the three seasons from 2018/19 to 2020/21.

Sanyuka TV, Ch 222 – StarTimes is now the exclusive Broadcaster of the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, which has previously been broadcast by GTV, DSTV and Azam.

The new Broadcasters come with combined expertise to bring about a phenomenal contribution towards the success and popularity of Ugandan football within and across the borders. Sanyuka TV - StarTimes starting this 2018/19 season will broadcast 100 - matches live along with 'near' live (long form highlights and recorded games) in their football program.

StarTimes DTV bought the rights to broadcast the Uganda's first Division League, the Uganda Premier League. All games will be broadcast by Sanyuka TV including replays and recorded games.

Each live match will feature expert pre and post - analysis by a team of Uganda’s finest and experienced broadcasters and a number of respected former professionals, in the State-of-the-Art Studio to enhance the viewers' experience from their armchairs.

Chief Strategist, Next Media and Sanyuka TV General Manager, Joseph Kigozi promises “a change on the face of Ugandan football”

“We are going to ensure quality and we want every Ugandan to associate with a Club from their community or region with the experience that we promise to bring about.” He added.

The team of broadcasters includes seasoned Panelists; Former 4-4-2 host, Joe Kigozi and panelist Aldrine Nsubuga, Web Daniel Ssebakijje, Allan Darren Kyeyune, Serugo Pius, Michael Kigozi, Aisha Nassanga, Baker Kigongo, Moses Al-Sayed Lubega, Allan Ssewanyana, Grace Mbabazi, Ssaka Solomon and Ahmed Wahab among others.

Sanyuka TV will also offer an extensive StarTimes Uganda Premier League experience with Dedicated Programs, featuring analysis from respected former professionals, as well as an alternative take on the week’s proceedings.

The broadcaster will also be responsible for relaying The StarTimes Uganda Premier League fixtures, table standings, news and as well as provide related content such as Profiling local Clubs, Players among others in the subsequent Sports programs.

With the new development, Sanyuka TV – StarTimes becom,es the new home to the “Only Football League that Matters.”
