BREAKING: Security picks up Burora

Former Deputy Resident City Commissioner for Rubaga Division, Herbert Anderson Burora, has been arrested.

Sources say Burora has been taken to Kira Divisional Police Station after he was picked up by security at around 10.30pm.

Burora moments ago posted on X, formerly Twitter, that unknown men had besieged his home in Kampala demanding he goes with them.

According to his lawyer John Teira, he has been arrested on cases-related to cyber harassment of the person of the Speaker of Parliament.

The vocal former presidential appointee gained notoriety for his criticism of the government he served, leading to his suspension and indictment earlier this year.

Burora blamed his woes on Speaker Anita Among.

Recently, he had turned from open criticism to sarcastic postings about the Speaker.
