The Chief Coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation, General Caleb Akandwanaho, popularly known as Salim Saleh, has appointed veteran public servant Dusman Okee to spearhead communication and public relations at the government's wealth creation agency.

Okee, a brother of Justice minister Norbert Mao, comes into the role to strengthen the programme's strategic communication and public engagement.

The appointment is expected to enhance public awareness of OWC activities and strengthen engagement with stakeholders, development partners and the media.

Okee brings decades of experience in public administration, having served as the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) for Pader District, where he earned recognition for coordinating government programmes and promoting collaboration between local communities and state institutions.

He is also known for his role in sports fraternity, having previously served as president of the Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda (FMU), where he was credited with advancing the development and professionalisation of motorsport in the country.
