Throughout the event, mixologists served a range of tequila-infused cocktails and frozen slushies, offering guests different ways to enjoy the spirit.

"Don Julio is made for moments that bring people together. The June edition of the Silo Daycation was a continuation of us standing with our consumers as they usher in the new month, celebrate the first half of the year, and enter into the second half, in true Don Julio style," said Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager for Tequila and Rum, East Africa at Uganda Breweries Limited (UBL).

As the afternoon progressed, entertainment took centre stage with performances from Selector Jay, DJ Alisha and Melvyn DJ, who treated guests to a mix of dancehall, Afrobeats, Afro-house and hip-hop, while MC Josh hosted the event.

The celebrations culminated in an Amapiano performance by Don Julio 1942 influencer Sheilah Gashumba, also known as Lil Stunner, whose set drew revellers onto the dance floor.

Organisers said the event continues to showcase the growing appeal of combining premium tequila, music and food to create memorable social experiences in Kampala.
