Cardholders will also access a range of travel benefits, including savings on hotels and flights, airport lounge access, car rental services and bookings through leading travel platforms.

The expansion comes as Africa continues to emerge as one of the world's fastest-growing tourism destinations. According to UN Tourism, the continent welcomed 81 million international visitors in 2025, representing an 8 percent increase compared to the previous year.

Ahmed Abdel-Karim Hussein, Mastercard's Executive Vice President for Integrated Marketing and Communications in Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa, said modern travellers are increasingly looking for authentic experiences rooted in local cultures.
