The Deputy Head of the Political Affairs Commission in the Office of the Secretary General of the People’s Front for Freedom (PFF), Harold Kaija, has stated that opposition campaigns in Uganda are not yet fully centred to the issues of the people as politicians are fighting for their legal rights.

Speaking during NBS Barometer on Tuesday, Kaija explained that the opposition remains largely focused on the broader struggle for freedom and human rights.

He noted that this ongoing struggle continues to shape the nature and focus of opposition political engagement in the country.

“Opposition campaigns in Uganda are not yet fully issue-based because the opposition is still engaged in the struggle for freedom and human rights,” he said.
