The Inspector General of Police, Abbas Byakagaba, is scheduled to hold a media briefing this morning at the Police Headquarters in Naguru, Kampala, to provide updates on the general security situation during the ongoing elections.

During the briefing, Byakagaba is expected to outline the deployment of security personnel across the country, detail incidents reported so far, and explain the preparedness measures put in place to ensure a peaceful electoral process.
