The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Abas Byakagaba, paid a courtesy visit to Martin Kamya, the Omudingiya Wa Bwamba, at his palace in Mirambi, Bundibugyo District.
During the visit, the IGP expressed gratitude for the Kingdom’s continued support of the Uganda Police Force and commended the strong partnership between the Police and the Bwamba Kingdom.
“We are grateful for the support we have received from His Majesty and the Kingdom of Bwamba,” said IGP Byakagaba. “We value this partnership and are committed to strengthening it further to enhance security, promote peace, and improve information sharing.”
His Majesty the Omudingiya Wa Bwamba welcomed the IGP and reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to collaborating with the Police in maintaining law and order and addressing emerging security challenges.
The visit is part of ongoing efforts by the IGP to strengthen ties with local leaders and communities, fostering security and development across the region.
