Next Media Partners With PRAU For 9th Excellence Awards

Next Media Uganda has struck a partnership with the Public Relations Association of Uganda as the official media sponsor of the forthcoming 9th PRAU Excellence Awards to be held on 4th December at Protea Hotel, Kololo.

Next Media, under its brands NBS TV (the flagship brand of Next Media), Afro Mobile App, and Next Communication, will give coverage to this prestigious event under the theme Recognising Innovation and Impact in Public Relations.

The annual PRAU Excellence Awards were established to recognise excellence in public relations practice in Uganda across various categories such as the Students Award, which is intended to celebrate young professionals, recognise their potential, and groom them into seasoned public relations practitioners; Media Relations and Management, which celebrates successful media relations efforts and campaigns; and the Online Publication category, which acknowledges innovative and impactful printed or online publications used in the field of communication.

Other categories include Public Relations Agencies, Corporate Social Responsibility and Environment, Social and Governance, Best Corporate Communication, Best Non-Profit Organisations, and the Lifetime Achievement category, which honours individuals with long-standing impact in the field of public relations, selected by the governing council.
