Ithuba Uganda announces first lotto draw results

Ithuba Uganda, the  operator of the Uganda National Lottery has announced  the results of the first lotto draw held on  June, 4 2024.

The excitement continues as the shs 1 billion jackpot rolls over, creating even more anticipation with an estimated shs1.001 billion up for grabs in the next draw which will be June,12, 2024."

There were  51 winners of the first lotto  draw in which one won shs 179,800 by

matching 3 numbers and a bonus ball, 30 winners won shs10,000 by matching 3 numbers

and 20 winners won shs4,000 by matching 2 numbers and a bonus number.

A rollover occurs when the jackpot is not won in a draw, meaning the prize money rolls over

to the next draw, increasing the potential winnings. This feature adds an extra layer of

Michelle Van Trotsenburg, Head of Marketing and Corporate Affairs at Ithuba Uganda,

extends her congratulations to the winners of the smaller prizes and encourages everyone to

try their luck.

“We are thrilled to have launched the lotto  draw and are excited to see such a positive response from the public. Congratulations to all our winners, and we look forward to more excitement in the next draw. Remember, the jackpot now stands at an impressive shs1.001 billion," he said.

Tips for winners

• Winners have 180 days from the draw date to claim their prizes.

• Winnings are tax-free and only paid to individuals presenting a valid winning ticket.

• It's important to protect your winnings and be cautious of scams. Your luck earned you

the prize, and your winnings are yours alone. Avoid individuals who may ask for a share

of your prize.

All participants must be 18 years or older.
