Deadly ADF terrorist back into country-security warns

Ugandan security forces have warned that the deadly ADF terrorist suspected to have been behind the double blasts in Kampala is back into the country.

“The ADF terrorist who was last year 2023 sent to plant bombs in Kampala has resurfaced to execute the deadly mission. You are advised to be vigilant and advised to report to any police or security agency,” an alert by security said on Sunday.

Two improvised explosive devices exploded in Kikubamutwe parish in Kabalagala and another in Nabweru, Nansana Municipality.

It was said then by the army that the IED that  exploded in Nabweru was allegedly brought by two young men yesterday after hiring a  house for three months  and left a bag in the room where the explosion took place.

The IED that exploded in Kabalagala was said to have been  left at a veranda of a house in a busy street ad later exploded but didn’t injure anyone.

Security then placed a shs20 million bounty on anyone with information leading to the arrest.

On Sunday, security said the shs20 million bounty is still on for any with credible information leading to the arrest of the suspect.

“The shs20 million bounty still awaits for anyone who gives information to security agencies.”
