The Holy Month of Ramathan has affected players performance says Proline tactician Mujib Kasule after a goalless draw again SC Villa.

With games fast running out in the Uganda premier league and the climax to the campaign getting slimmer the battle to avoid relegation is intensifying.

This was witnessed after SC villa was held by Proline FC to a goalless draw at the Star Times Stadium in Lugogo in their 29th game.

The draw leaves the Lugogo-based side in the relegation zone with their hopes pinned on their last game when they host URA FC.

Mujib Kasule admitted that Proline badly needed a win but his players were in poor shape because many of them are fasting.

Kasule says "Proline, took long to get into the game. The Boys couldn’t move in the first half and that is because six of them decided to fast on such a big day for us .They didn’t have the energy to go.”

SC Villa coach Wasswa Bbosa admitted that his side is now out of the title run.

Bbosa said: “We admit we are now off the title chase for this season. We are now focusing and planning for next season and now our focus is to win the Uganda Cup.”
