After the World Tequila Day celebrations at Mediterraneo Restaurant in Kololo on Sunday evening, the festivities continued at the Chop Life Sunday party at Aura Lounge, where Sheila Gashumba, also known as Lil Stunner, joined Don Julio to host an after-party for tequila enthusiasts.
Guests walked the red carpet, posing for photographs against the Don Julio backdrop before making their way into the venue, which was decorated with gold accents, neon lighting and displays of Don Julio bottles behind the bar.
The event attracted Kampala's socialites and partygoers, who gathered to celebrate World Tequila Day while enjoying Don Julio's signature tequila cocktails and premium bottle service.
Known globally for its tequila heritage, Don Julio took centre stage throughout the evening, with its branding reflected in the venue setup, cocktails and exclusive bottle presentations.
Guests enjoyed the lively atmosphere, raising their glasses as they embraced the brand's message of celebrating life's special moments.
"We are glad to celebrate World Tequila Day with our consumers at the Choplife Sundays. Tonight is special because we celebrate the art, craft and heritage of tequila with a city that knows how to celebrate life beautifully," said Judie Nandekya, Senior Brand Manager, Tequila and Rum East Africa.
Entertainment was provided by some of Kampala's leading DJs, led by the 2woBunnies, who kept revellers on the dance floor with a mix of Afrobeats, Amapiano, Dancehall and deep house music throughout the night.
Those in attendance experienced an evening where the cocktails, lighting and bottle service combined to create an atmosphere centred on celebration, confidence and style.
As the night drew to a close and Kampala's skyline shimmered in the background, many guests agreed that the event had provided a fitting way to mark World Tequila Day, with Don Julio and Sheila Gashumba delivering an experience that celebrated tequila in style.
