A new season of Kampala Crème is set to premiere later this month, with producers promising deeper storylines, expanded cast dynamics and a stronger focus on the ambitions and influence of modern Ugandan women.
The reality television series will return on April 12 on Pearl Magic Prime, featuring a mix of returning personalities and a new entrant aimed at reshaping the show’s power dynamics.
New cast member Tamara Kainembabazi joins established figures including Sheena Holm, Primah Kardashi, Umra Murungi and Zahara Toto. Producers say the addition is expected to introduce new rivalries and alliances within the show.
Hassan Saleh, Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Uganda, said the programme remains central to the company’s strategy of promoting local content and authentic Ugandan storytelling.
“We are intentional about telling stories that are bold and authentically Ugandan. Kampala Crème reflects the evolving identities and experiences of women today,” Saleh said, adding that the new season will deliver “richer storytelling” and spark national conversations.
The show’s producer, Judithiana Namazzi Ndugwa, said the latest season will go beyond glamour to highlight the personal and professional realities behind the cast’s public lives.
“This season reveals the hustle behind the glamour… audiences will see the ambition and real impact the cast is making,” she said.
Now in its latest edition, the series has gained popularity for showcasing the social, business and personal lives of women in Kampala’s urban circles, while contributing to discussions on identity, ambition and gender roles.
The upcoming season is expected to build on that momentum, with producers positioning it as both entertainment and a platform for broader social reflection.
