As the Platinum and Official Title Sponsor, NCBA Bank Uganda is using the exhibition to demonstrate how its Asset Finance solutions are helping individuals, families, entrepreneurs and businesses own vehicles that improve livelihoods, expand businesses and create employment.

Opening the event, Julius Konyani, Executive Director of NCBA Bank Uganda, said the bank believes access to mobility is an important driver of economic and social transformation.

“At NCBA, we believe that mobility is a catalyst for growth. Whether it is an individual purchasing their first vehicle or a business expanding its fleet, access to the right financial solutions creates new opportunities. Our continued partnership with the Auto Show reflects our commitment to supporting Uganda’s automotive industry while making vehicle ownership more attainable for our customers. We invite everyone to visit the NCBA pavilion and discover how we can help turn their mobility aspirations into reality,” Konyani said.

He noted that reliable transport not only improves business productivity but also enhances access to education, healthcare and markets, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises that depend on efficient transportation to serve customers across the country.

The exhibition is expected to attract thousands of visitors over the three days, creating opportunities for networking, knowledge sharing and business partnerships while promoting safer roads and responsible vehicle ownership.

Speaking at the event, Adad Iraguha, Head of Asset Finance at NCBA Bank Uganda, said the Auto Show offers an ideal platform to connect Ugandans with financing solutions tailored to their needs.

“The NCBA Auto Show brings together everyone with an interest in mobility, making it the perfect opportunity to showcase our Asset Finance offering. Whether you’re looking for a personal vehicle, a commercial vehicle or a fleet solution, our team is on-site to provide expert guidance and financing solutions that make ownership simple, flexible and affordable,” Iraguha said.

NCBA’s Asset Finance package provides up to 90 percent financing for both new and used vehicles, competitive interest rates and flexible repayment periods. The facility supports personal vehicles, commercial transport, motorcycles and fleet acquisition, enabling customers to spread the cost of vehicle ownership over manageable repayment schedules.

The financing solution is expected to benefit entrepreneurs, transport operators, logistics companies and other businesses seeking to expand operations without placing excessive pressure on working capital.

Community engagement remains a central feature of this year’s exhibition. Families attending the show will benefit from road safety education sessions, interactive demonstrations and awareness campaigns aimed at encouraging responsible driving and reducing road accidents.

Visitors will also experience exhibitions featuring luxury and everyday vehicles, electric vehicles, motorcycles, vintage classics, drifting competitions, gymkhana performances, BMX stunt displays, gaming experiences, children’s entertainment and technology showcases from leading automotive brands.

According to Edgar Tusiime, Head of Marketing at NCBA Bank Uganda, the Auto Show has evolved into more than just an exhibition of vehicles.

“The NCBA Auto Show is more than an automotive exhibition; it is a platform where innovation, lifestyle and financial empowerment come together. We are excited to welcome visitors over the next three days and demonstrate how NCBA continues to support our customers in achieving their ambitions through innovative financial solutions,” he said.

The event also highlights the growing role of Uganda’s automotive industry in supporting economic development by creating jobs, stimulating investment and encouraging the adoption of modern, safer and environmentally friendly transport technologies.

For many small business owners, access to affordable vehicle financing can improve efficiency, lower transport costs and increase market reach. Likewise, families can benefit from safer and more reliable transport, while commercial operators are able to expand their fleets and improve service delivery.

Through its continued sponsorship of the Auto Show, NCBA Bank Uganda says it remains committed to supporting sustainable mobility, promoting road safety and empowering communities through innovative financial solutions that enable more Ugandans to own vehicles and participate in the country’s growing economy.
