Salam Television, in partnership with Infotrust Property Consultants, has handed over a parcel of land in Busiika to Lutaaya Huzairu, the first runner-up of the 2025 Omumanyi wa Salam TV competition.
The gesture marked a significant milestone in a collaboration designed to empower individuals through community-focused initiatives.
During the ceremony, Hajj Karim Kaliisa, Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity, also announced the official launch of the 2026 edition of Omumanyi wa Salam TV.
He urged interested participants to register early and thanked Infotrust Property Consultants for their unwavering support.
“Infotrust has proven to be a trusted and experienced partner. We encourage the public to support them,” Hajji Kaliisa said.

The partnership has evolved into a multifaceted effort to uplift communities, particularly through property empowerment.
Miriam Tusubira, CEO of Infotrust Property Consultants, reaffirmed her company’s commitment to working with Salam TV and Next Media.
“Our involvement in Omumanyi wa Salam TV is part of our broader initiative to give back to society,” she said, adding that the collaboration had significantly increased interest from Muslim clients.
She encouraged the public to explore Infotrust’s affordable land offers across Uganda.
Sheikh Mafo Shafik echoed the confidence in the collaboration, saying, “Salam TV has earned public trust, and that makes it an ideal partner for Infotrust.”
He encouraged Ugandans, both local and in the diaspora, to invest in land with Infotrust, citing its proven credibility.
Speaking after receiving the land, Huzairu expressed gratitude to both organisations for delivering on their promise without delay.
“This is more than a prize—it’s a foundation for my future. I thank Salam TV and Infotrust for empowering people like me,” he said.
The handover included the issuance of a land title at Infotrust’s Ntinda headquarters, with the company pledging to complete all transfer formalities at no cost within a week.
The event also featured a courtesy tour of Infotrust Property Consultants and JB’s Tailor headquarters by the Salam TV team.
Hajj Kaliisa praised both businesses for their role in fostering innovation and creativity among Ugandans.
The growing partnership between Salam TV and Infotrust continues to demonstrate how strategic collaboration can extend beyond media and real estate to meaningful impact in people’s lives.
