CAF Confederation Cup:  KCCA FC crash out in humiliating fashion in Algeria

Paradou AC 4-1 KCCA FC

Another Ugandan representative in the CAF Confederation Cup, KCCA FC were humiliated as they crashed out of the competition on Sunday evening.

Following a nil-all draw in Kampala, the Ugandan defending champions despite having a mountain to climb hoped they could defy the odds to qualify to the group stages but this was not possible in Algiers as home side Paradou AC thumped them 4-1.

The hosts took the lead as early as nine minutes after kick-off but 14 minutes later, youngster Allan Okello restored parity for KCCA FC to return to life in Algiers but things were not yet done.

The hosts restored their lead, 14 minutes later from a penalty that ensured they ended the first stanza on top of the game.

The second half only worked to torment the Ugandan champions more when they conceded two more goals that ensured KCCA FC collected the ball from their net, four times throughout the entire 90 minutes in Algiers.

The Kasasiro boys had bowed out of the continent in a humiliating fashion away in Algeria on Sunday and they missed out on at least two billion shillings for qualifying to the CAF Confederation Cup group stages.

KCCA FC had earlier been eliminated from the CAF Champions League at home at the hands of Petro de Luanda from Angola.
