Maverick Police officer and former Buyende DPC ASP Muhammad Kirumira has been shot.
Kirumira was shot several times together with a lady who we are yet to to identify as he approached his gate. Some reports said the lady was his wife but other reports say he had just given her a lift.
It is reported that the two were shot by assailants traveling on a boda boda.
Sources at the scene indicate that the maverick officer was rushed to Rubaga hospital were he succumbed to bullet wounds .
