Army doctors carryout caesarian operation as part of Tarehe Sita celebrations

Doctors from the Uganda People's Defence Forces carried out a caesarian operation on a 20 year old woman as part of their Tarehe Sita celebrations that will climax on February 6.

Led  by Col Dr Stephen Kusasira and Maj Dr Richard Katungyi the army doctors  helped in the  delivery of a baby boy weighting four Kilograms born to Biba Kainza at Budaka hospital.

The mother  had got an  obstructed labor because of a big baby with malpresentation for her second pregnancy. "The  doctors performed a caesarian section  after analysing the condition of the mother.

Both mother and baby are well,"said the army spokesperson Brig.Richard Karemire.
