PSG Beat Arsenal to Defend Uefa Champions League Title

Paris Saint-Germain beat Arsenal 4-3 on penalties after a pulsating 1-all draw in normal time to defend win the Uefa Champions League for the second seccessive time.

Luis Enrique's defending champions fell behind early to Kai Havertz's opener and despite their famous attacking trident of Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Désiré Nonka-Maho Doué in full force, the English champions stood their ground resolutely at the back for more than an hour.

Dembele restored parity in the 65th minute from the spot to force a nervy end to a game the English champions were trying to win for the first time.

But Eberechi Eze missed the second kick for Arsenal and despite Nuno Mendes' miss PSG's subsequent penalty, defender Gabriel missed the decisive kick to leave the wait for a first European title ongoing.
