This is a true account with not a grain of salt added: former Police spokesperson Fred Enanga has joined the SC Villa Electoral Committee as the club prepares for its highly anticipated presidential elections.
SC Villa confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday, emphasizing the committee’s role in ensuring a transparent and well-managed electoral process.
“As SC Villa moves closer to the polls, we're pleased to announce that SCP Fred Enanga has officially joined the Villa Electoral Committee,” the club said.
The club also reminded prospective candidates that application forms are available and can be collected from East High School, Ntinda, until Thursday, March 5, 2026.
Enanga joins the committee alongside Brian Kajubi, who serves as chairperson, Brandon Katura, and Desire Mukisa, all of whom were elected on Tuesday to oversee the electoral process. The committee’s mandate is to organize and implement the Sports Club Villa presidential elections.
Earlier this week, SC Villa released the electoral roadmap, confirming that the polls are scheduled for March 22. So far, incumbent president Omar Mandela and former club president Ben Misagga have publicly expressed interest in contesting for the top position.
With the addition of Enanga, a prominent figure in public service, the club expects to strengthen the committee’s credibility and oversight as it approaches one of its most closely watched elections in recent years.
