With the issue of moral character and integrity being a major concern in the country, the head of the Anti-Corruption Unit at State House Lt Col Edith Nakalema has challenged Ugandans more especially students of Theology to desist from acts of corruption.
She was officiating the 9th graduation ceremony of 17 students at Entebbe Miracle Center International Bible college.
She urged the graduates to be ambassadors of good morals and to spearhead the fight against corruption which is so rampant in the country.
Nakalema, who was awarded a certificate of recognition by Miracle Center International Bible College, said that the church has been instrumental in promoting human development, education and health.
She donated Shs. 1m to the church choir and asked the general public to spearhead the neighborhood watch campaign by reporting persons whom they suspect swindle or steal taxpayers' money.
Diana Nyonyintono, the registrar at the Bible College, disclosed that it's compulsory for all the church ministers in all departments to enroll for theological or Bible studies so that they get the necessary training in areas of theology, foundation of faith and Bible interpretation among others.
Pastor Aaron Mutebi, the Director of Miracle Center International Bible College, commended Nakalema for the good job done in the fight against corruption and also urged graduands to further their studies.
