Ruparelia Foundation to construct toilets for school in the Ghetto

The Ruparelia Foundation will this Friday (December 6) break ground for the construction of sanitation facilities at Good Samaritan Primary School in Kamwokya.

The school has more than 500 pupils but did not have adequate sanitation facilities.

The funds to construct the facilities were got from the proceeds of this year's Royal Ascot Goat Races that took place on October 12 at Speke Resort Munyonyo.

This is part of the social corporate responsibility of the Ruparelia Group and Ruparelia Foundation.

Proceeds from the event in 2018 funded Totos Tag Rugby and outreach programme which supported more than 250 children to train at the Kyadondo Rugby Club.

The construction of the toilets will be undertaken by the ghetto research lab, an environment organization that is based in the slum area of kamwokya.

The organisation makes bricks, pavers and other construction materials from polythene bags and plastics.
