CAF Confederation Cup: Mutebi says firing on all cylinders is the only way out for KCCA FC
KCCA FC gaffer, Mike Mutebi has said his team needs to fire on all cylinders if they are to overcome the mountain ahead of them in the CAF Confederation Cup return leg over the weekend.
The Ugandan champions will need at least a goal if they are to go past Algeria’s Athletic Club Paradou in the return leg game on Sunday in Algiers.

Speaking during the pre-match press conference on Thursday, Mutebi said the only way out for his team is scoring and that this can only be achieved through attacking the enemy.
“We know it was a tricky result but we are going there to attack. We must score goals and this can only be done by attacking,” Mutebi said.
Mutebi’s KCCA FC is known for playing a free-flowing game and according the gaffer, the philosophy will not change when they visit Paradou, three days from today.
“We respect the opposition but there is nothing that is going to change. We are going to play our way with the intention of picking a good result. The biggest task is putting away chances. The good thing is we create and so we shall use same approach, go and attack to score goals. Get a good result and go to the group stages.”
The tactician was optimistic his opponents would fall into his team’s trap of trying to play an open game, and this he said will be to the advantage of his team.
“They are not going to be defensive as they were here but will open up and this will help us play.”
He noted that if his team fails to make it to the group stages, it will be a failed campaign.
The Kasasiro boys will be hoping to reach the CAF Confederation Cup group stages where they will be assured of at least two billion shillings.
