Age Limit: Opposition MPs set aside next week as country wide Togikwatako week
The Opposition in parliament has announced next week as Togikwatako week not only to legislators but to all Ugandans.
This comes as the legal and Parliamentary affairs committee chaired by Budama MP Jacob Oboth Oboth meet at Lake Victoria Serena Hotel Kigo, to put final touches to a report that will be tabled before parliament on Tuesday next week

Muwanga Kivumbi, the shadow internal affairs minister says the country is going to be painted red. He cautioned IGP General Kale Kayihura to desist from any sinister plans to thwart the arrangements by opposition.
The legislators also issued a warning to the Special Forces Command (SFC) to keep away from parliament.
Kivumbi the coordinator of the campaign says all Ugandans will be dressing in red attires, thousands of electorates will visit all MPs living in Kampala and Wakiso not to harm them but rather to lobby them to drop the controversial constitutional amendment bill 2017.
They also intend to organize a massive parade along all roads surrounding the August House to salute them as they head to table the legal and parliamentary affairs report on age limit on Tuesday next week.
He also says all shops will be required to close next week ahead of the tabling of the long awaited report on the age limit.
They want the Parliamentary commission to install screens across the August House for people to watch who will vote for and those against the bill.
Kivumbi flanked by other opposition legislators speaking to journalists appealed to Ugandans to even put on red during Christmas day.
The opposition MPs also believe the looming proposal of lifting the term limit from 5 to 7 years is diversionary adding they will also oppose the this so called Abiriga bill.
The fire spitting Ssewungu, Kasibante, Roland Mugume and Kivumbi also warned the communication regulator (UCC) against blocking media houses from broadcasting live the Tuesday sitting.
These MPs are also concerned that the majority of the MPs didn't consult their electorates as directed by the speaker Rebecca Kadaga.
