UPC dismisses opinion poll

MUHAMAD MATOVU

Uganda People’s Congress dismissed the recent opinion poll by Research World International that placed President Museveni ahead of Dr Kizza Besigye and Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine.

In a press briefing at the party headquarters in Kampala on Wednesday, the party’s spokesman Michael Osinde quashed the findings

He stated that few Ugandans were consulted therefore the poll results are not representative.

"The audience were very small to the total of the sampled respondents compared to the population of Uganda," he said.

"Apparently we have 40million Ugandans, and when you sample out two thousand chances are low that the findings will represent the views of the majority “he said
