Museveni touched down at Kilimanjaro International Airport on Friday evening, ahead of the summit scheduled for March 7, 2026, at the EAC headquarters in Arusha.

President Museveni has arrived in Arusha, Tanzania, to participate in the 25th Ordinary Summit of the East African Community (EAC) Heads of State, aimed at advancing regional integration, trade, and security.

Museveni touched down at Kilimanjaro International Airport on Friday evening, ahead of the summit scheduled for March 7, 2026, at the EAC headquarters in Arusha.

He was received by Tanzania’s Minister of Home Affairs, Patrobas Katambi, alongside other senior officials.

Shortly after arrival, Museveni confirmed his participation on his official platforms, saying, “I have arrived in Arusha, Tanzania, to attend the 25th Ordinary Summit of the Heads of State of the East African Community.
