The Bishop-elect of Busoga Diocese, Rev. Can. Prof. Dr. Grace Lubaale, visited Next Media Park in Naguru this morning for discussions with Next Media CEO, Dr. Kin Kariisa, on ways to leverage media in promoting the growth of the Church.
The meeting focused on exploring partnership opportunities between Busoga Diocese and Next Media to enhance the Church’s outreach and community development efforts.
“We are excited to partner with Busoga Diocese to promote the growth of the Church and support community development,” Dr. Kariisa said during the meeting.
Commending Dr. Kariisa for his investment in the media sector, Rev. Dr. Lubaale said, “I commend you for your vision and commitment to making a positive impact in the media industry. We look forward to working together to spread the word of God and promote development.”
The consecration of Rev. Dr. Lubaale as the new Bishop of Busoga Diocese is scheduled for December 14, 2025, at Bugembe Cathedral in Jinja City.
The delegation from Busoga Diocese included Eng. Patrick Batumbya, Chairperson of the Bishop’s consecration Organizing Committee, and Eng. Dr. Jimmy Muwuluke, Head of Laity.
The partnership between Next Media and Busoga Diocese is expected to strengthen the Church’s media presence, promote its activities, and contribute to both spiritual and community development.
