Greening Uganda: Treescape Planet ,Travad Tours Launch Eco-Tourism Initiative

Treescape Planet Organization has joined forces with Travad Tours Uganda Ltd in a strategic partnership aimed at advancing eco-tourism and promoting environmental sustainability across Uganda.

The collaboration seeks to ensure that every traveler exploring the country also contributes to conservation—planting a tree for every trip.

The partnership officially kicked off today with a tree-planting event at Christ the King High School, Bweya, where students, teachers, and community members came together to plant trees that will provide long-term benefits, including carbon sequestration, biodiversity protection, and environmental education.

On the importance of linking tourism with environmental stewardship, Treescape Planet Organization stated that they aim to restore ecosystems and create climate aware communities.

Community-driven climate action projects are also part of the plan.

Through this collaboration, Treescape Planet and Travad Tours aim to transform tourism into a force for ecological restoration, showing that travel can leave a lasting positive impact on Uganda’s natural heritage while inspiring responsible, environmentally conscious journeys.
