EAC Speakers Commend Uganda’s Readiness to Host 2025 Games

The 20th meeting of the Speakers' Bureau of the East African Community (EAC) has commended Uganda for its preparedness to host the EAC Games 2025.

Kenya's Senate Speaker, Amason Kingi, praised Uganda’s efforts, noting that despite the short notice, the country has implemented sufficient measures to host the competition successfully.

Deputy Speaker Thomas Tayebwa highlighted the significance of the games, saying, "The games form a critical component of socialisation and cultural integration, which are key in achieving political and economic federation."
