Rachael Kawala, the newly appointed spokesperson for the Kampala Metropolitan Police (KMP), has expressed confidence and readiness to take on her expanded role following a major reshuffle by Inspector General of Police (IGP) Abas Byakagaba.

She says the transfer represents a continuation of her communication work on a larger, more dynamic scale.

“I am very ready to take up this new task,” Kawala told Nile Post. “It’s not too different from what I’ve been doing in Wamala Region, but the coverage is much wider. Kampala is bigger and more dynamic compared to Wamala.”
