The Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, The Most Rev. Dr. Stephen Samuel Kaziimba Mugalu, this afternoon arrived in West Ruwenzori Diocese for his official pastoral visit.
During the visit, the Archbishop will preside over tomorrow’s celebrations marking two years since the creation of the Diocese and the episcopal ministry of the Rt. Rev. Barnabas Tibaijuka as the Diocesan Bishop.
The thanksgiving service will take place at St. Barnabas Cathedral, Bumadu.
West Ruwenzori Diocese was carved out of Ruwenzori Diocese, with Bishop Barnabas Tibaijuka consecrated and enthroned as its first Bishop on 27th August 2023.
