Pastor Robert Kayanja has been honored with the Innovative Mindset and Ideological Transformation Champion Award at the Asia-Africa 2025 summit, presented by Prime Awards & Events LLC.
The ceremony took place in Paris, recognizing leaders driving impactful change across the continents.
The award celebrates Pastor Kayanja's humanitarian leadership through Afri-Aid and the Robert Kayanja Bucket Initiative.
His efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic, including food relief to over 50,000 families and 8,000 tons delivered to South Sudan, were key highlights.
Organizers praised Pastor Kayanja’s “faith-driven solutions, innovative mindset, and visionary approach to community transformation,” adding that his work has elevated Uganda’s profile on the global stage.
The award comes days after Kayanja led a high-level delegation of religious leaders to meet Democratic Republic of Congo President Félix-Antoine Tshisekedi Tshilombo in Kinshasa, for discussions centered on peace in the Great Lakes region, spiritual revival, and agriculture cooperation.
Kayanja praised President Tshisekedi’s leadership and vision for peace.
