PFF launches in Rukungiri,vows to unite opposition 
I want to appeal to the public to avoid money in politics,let them know that it has some effects especially in service delivery

The People’s Front For Freedom (PFF) has officially launched in Rukungiri municipality, marking a significant milestone for the party’s growing presence in the Kigezi sub-region.

The launch was spearheaded by the party’s vice chairperson western region Roland Kaginda who led a delegation of senior party officials of Rukungiri district.

The launch kicked off with the matching in town where Dr. Kizza Besigye’s songs were played. The delegation matched in different streets of the town spreading the message of the new born party. Later, they headed for Rozana gardens for the launch of the party cards and registration.

Alosyious Mugarura chairman PFF Rukungiri district noted that the main aim of the launch is to bring back the growly of opposition support within the district as well creating unity in the district.

"We want to unite and solve the challenge of divisionism within the party in the district so that our party can develop."Mugarura noted.

Roland Kaginda vice was chairperson western Uganda PFF noted that it was important to start regional launch of the party in Rukungiri to show that opposition is still strong in the district stressing that NRM has been deceiving voters that opposition is no longer strong like it used to be in the past.

Kaginda also highlighted that the current politics has been commercialised stressing that it will greatly affect service delivery in the country.

"I want to appeal to the public to avoid money in politics,let them know that it has some effects especially in service delivery."Kaginda said.

Being headed by incarcerated, Col.Dr. Kiza Besigye, the People’s Front for Freedom received a certificate to operate as a political party in the early month on June 5,2025.

As we head for the 2026 general elections, one awaits to see on how the new party PFF will perform.
