A photo circulating on social media platforms purporting to show a massive crack on the Kampala-Entebbe Expressway bridge has sparked alarm and concern among Ugandans.

The image shows a damaged section of a flyover bridge with visible cracks and exposed reinforcement bars, accompanied by captions suggesting it is part of Uganda’s major expressway infrastructure.

However, The claim is FALSE. The photo is not from Uganda. A reverse image search and cross-verification reveal that the image actually shows a section of the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway in Nigeria.
