The second edition of the university floodlights Basketball league will tip off tomorrow at Nkumba University in Entebbe.
Ten institutions will compete for this year's men and women titles.
Bugema University and Uganda Christian University are the newest entrants for this year's edition of the university basketball league to be played under flood lights starting tomorrow at Nkumba University.
The two will join men's defending champions Ndejje and their women counterparts Nkumba, Makerere University, Kampala University, Uganda Martyrs and International University of East Africa among others.
This season is expected to be more competitive as Vicent Kisenyi, the vice President of The Association of Uganda University Sports explains.
"This season is going to be more competitive as 10 teams will be participating from the previous 8, where all teams will be grouped into two, with the top two from each group qualifying to the semi finals." Says Vicent Kisenyi.
All participating teams are expected to feature a men and women team.
The league will end on the 3rd of November with games schedule for Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturday, all to be played under flood lights.
