Bobi Wine return: Police warns against demos, says MP will be escorted to his home
Kayima.

The police has warned anyone intending to hold demonstrations tomorrow ahead of the return of Robert Kyagulanyi (aka Bobi Wine) that they will be dealt with firmly.

The Kyadondo East MP returns tomorrow after two weeks in the United States (US) where he had gone to seek treatment following his brutal arrest in Arua last month. Some of his supporters had planned to welcome him in style.

Addressing journalists today, Emilian Kayima, the police spokesperson, said Bobi Wine shall be escorted to his home in Gayaza, by the police.

Kayima said police will not allow any demonstrations of any kind.

"He will only be received by his close family at the airport after, he will be escorted to his home. There will be no rallies," Kayima said.

The police spokesperson said they are aware that some people will try to hold rallies but maintained that they were prepared for any eventualities.
