Fire guts dormitory in Iganga
All property in the particular dormitory was burnt to ash in the fire whose cause is yet to be established.

IGANGA | Fire has gutted a boys' dormitory at Creamland Primary School in Iganga Municipality, leaving properties worth millions of shillings destroyed.

It's alleged that by the time of the fire around 9pm, the pupils were receiving supper. No person was injured in the incident.

However, all property in the particular dormitory was burnt to ash in the fire whose cause is yet to be established.

Diana Nandawula, the police spokesperson Busoga East, confirmed the incident, saying investigations are still ongoing.

"We have started investigating the cause of the fire that gutted the boys' dormitory of Creamland Primary School, Nandawula said.

The dormitory accommodated 18 pupils from primary five and seven.
