The Secretary General of the National Resistance Movement (NRM), Richard Todwong has launched the second phase of the ‘The NRM Ideological Clinics’ at the party headquarters in Kampala.
The clinics will enable the cadres keep updated on the programs and activities of the party.
During the launch, Twodong said the program had been suspended due to the party’s involvement in the NRM primary elections across the country.
“Especially this phase, we are combining it with the Kiswahili lectures we have introduced and the art of public speaking. We all know many leaders have interests to lead their people but communication is the problem. Therefore we have got the people to take them through communication skills as we move towards the East African Federation," Twodong stated.
He added the party is set to launch the digital library that will enable people research and access party’s online information suitable for public consumption
“ In the last general election, the public appreciated our manifesto and voted for us and we are now implementing our manifesto. Instead of me going to tell them that am good ,I should rather make sure my government performs because they believe in us,” he added
The clinics will be held monthly due to other activities conducted by the secretariat.
