A High Court registrar Deo Nzeimana has declined to hear an application filed by former information minister Jim Muhwezi seeking to block court orders evicting him from a piece of land in Makindye.
Nzeimana says he is related to one Hitmana who is consistently referred to by Muhwezi as the person that sold him the land in question.
The registrar then forwarded the case file to High court Judge Paul Gadenya who will deliberate on the same on the 16th may 2018.
Meanwhile, the registrar and the parties also agreed that for now, the status quo relating to the land remain as it is until court pronounces itself.

Muhwezi filed an application against one James Mubiru who also claims ownership of the land in question which he claims was passed to him by his biological father the late George Ssekajjugo.
However, in his documents, Muhwezi claims he purchased the land in question from one William Hitmana in 1995 and has been quietly occupying it for the last 23years until court bailiffs stormed his premise last week.
Mubiru sought intervention of the court bailiffs on grounds that Muhwezi fraudulently obtained the land.
However Muhwezi challenges the eviction orders saying they are still immature because there is still a pending court case and other court orders which the current orders undermined.
