Oliver Nakakande (24) was Friday night crowned Miss Uganda 2019/2020 in a highly contested event held at Sheraton Hotel Kampala.
Nakakande is currently pursuing a Bachelors in Business Management.
She was crowned by outgoing Miss Uganda Quiin Abanekyo and Miss World Vanessa Ponce in the wee hours of the night beating 21 other contestants to the top crown.
She took home a brand new Toyota Wish.
Other contestants Petronella Acen and Maria Nyamatte emerged 1st and 2nd runner ups respectively.
Nakakande will now represent Uganda at the 69th edition of Miss World slated for December 14, 2019
